Experience

Nicolás earned his degree as Economist from Universidad de la República, a Master’s in Economics from Universidad de Montevideo, and a graduate Specialization Diploma in Business Analytics from Universidad ORT. He completed specialized courses in quantitative methods (Cinve) and in competition (Barcelona School of Economics).

He is a regular columnist in the Economics and Market supplement of the El País newspaper, and was Adjunct Professor in the Economics Department at Universidad ORT Uruguay and at Universidad Católica del Uruguay from 2023 to 2025.

Before joining the firm, he was manager of the Economic Consultancy Area at Grant Thornton Uruguay and Paraguay from 2018 to 2021. Previously he served as senior analyst for over seven years at Willis Towers Watson, focusing on consultancy and research areas.
